Shy bairns get nowt, and the threat of leaving a contract is a huge sword of Damocles over them. I've got loads of free handsets from mobile companies throught it. :D

Will you be following the trend of many competitors by upping your connection speeds for the same monthly fee, in the near future? The reason I ask is that I'm always looking for a cheap, reliable and fast service and I will not hesitate to leave one company in order to get a faster service with another company.

Pipex has been an excellent service so far and I'll be delighted if you were to follow trend and up your connections.

Ok, well, if you're on BT BB basic then yes, it's 1Mb, but we're not, so 2Mb is very welcome.

Not yet, but they will be soon, later in this quarter.

300K to 1MB – £17.99. (5GB monthly usage allowance)
750K to 2MB – £24.99. (30GB monthly usage allowance)

And i get an email from plusnet saying im getting taken off of my 20:1 contention and put onto a 50:1 service. Balls to that i say, im barely halfway through my 1 year contract.

Isn't that, "those with BT Broadband Basic will have their speed increased from 512k up to 1 Mb."?
