I just bought Ranma 1/2 series 2 box-set on an NTSC format without even knowing if I have a multi-reigeon DVD player. So, is there anyway to check or not?

Computer exchange sell R1's
If you can put up with the stuck-up sweaty moronic geeks that work there, check it out.

Some shops (usually seedy hole in the wall backstreet places) sell R1 DVD's. If you can find a place that sells them, buy a cheap one to test your DVD player.

Failing that, you could always try good old Boilsoft...

That doesn't necessarily mean region 1 & 2. It'll most probably mean the output to TV - whether you have a PAL or NTSC TV. Can you not borrow a R1 DVD off a mate or something?

There is such a thing as NTSC region 2 which I'm pretty sure is dependant on the T.V., more specifically dependant on when the T.V. was made. Judging by the fact that it has a built in DVD player, I'm 99% sure that it will support NTSC region 2. If its NTSC region 1, ain't got a clue.
