As soon as the game starts you know it will be unlike any other FPS(first Person Shooter)and this is going to swipe the crown around Timesplitters head straight over its own.
the storyline revolves around a group of miners(very exciting)who work on mars and as soon they finish doin some job or something then you find out you have been screwed by the BIG BOSS so your life is in danger and no escape......
but there is because this game allows you to blow up everything that is in your way and on one level you get to blow a hole in a wall and it disrupts the lava flow and it goes all over the enemy you will also be able to dig through the fall and blow up the ceiling NOT LONG TO WAIT BECAUSE IT COMES OUT ON JUNE 22

THE CHARACTERS ARE

PARKER-our unwitting hero sacrificed a safe place at college to become a miner on mars.Not a smart man

EOS-the enigmatic leader of the Red Faction doesnt appear until halfway through the game.can she be trusted?

GRYPON-An ultor administrator who becomes disgusted by Capeks plans and defects to the Red Faction

HENDRIX-whizz-kid computer operator who uses ultors camera network to act as Parkers eyes and ears

MASAKO-A ruthless mercenery leader employed by capek to mop up the pieces her loyalties arent as clear as they seem

CAPEK-all round evil genius who infects mines with a mutant plague to reach his mysterious goal.HOW ORIGINAL

APC=baddie trucks/carriers.
ROCK CRUSHERS=These mobile granite grinders have an automated travellator which will whip up unsuspecting baddies.
DRILLER=if your path is blocked jump inside and carve out a huge tunnel to safety.
FIGHTER=The mini fighter packs high powered machine guns and a limited supply of rockets

That would make sense - The UK release is usual about a few weeks after which makes June 22nd almost definate!!

Has no one ever heard of a little game called descent, I could swear it had a similar story line, maybe because it's being made by the same guys, and it looks a tad like half life, but you can blow lots of stuff up (that means i'm buying it btw, half-life was immense.)

I think Redfaction is released in a few days. Not over here but in America.

Red Faction will be the next game I going to buy - I think its going to be one of the best games yet and it looks just amazing.
Ive watched the preview videos time and time again and cant wait till its out. Im not going to bother waiting for the reviews, I have a feeling that its going to be a cracker!!
