Im having trouble downloading stuff. I can't connect to anything, it just says 'waiting for network reply' before cancelling itself after several seconds.
I've tried all sorts of stuff with my firewall options, thinking it might be that but with no luck.
So like, any ideas?

Do you not get a lot of corrupted files with WinMx?
I'd personally use LimeWire, no corrupted files, but if it is because of your firewall then it probably won't work anyway. You can always try...
