Britian has a ton of great comedians but almost all of them are male, clearly guys are funnier than girls. If anyone can think of a funnier female comedian than Peter Kay, Jack Dee, Lee Evans and Jimmy Carr then please post here becasue my mind is blank.

I can't think of funnier comediennes, but Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders, Joanna Lumley [ab fab :-)], and the Scottish crazy lady in The Green Wing tickle me. Only 2 of them are on the stage though :-(

Why would I lie? What possible benefit could I get from saying on a chat board that I don't like the comediennes you mention, when in fact I do?

Simple fact is, the only female comedienne I've found side splittingly funny was an Australian lass on at a Newcastle comedy club. She was uttely fantastic, and far more entertaining than Jo Brand (periods, food, sex), Victoria Wood (nice safe, inoffensive "mumsy" comedy) and French/Saunders (Plain not funny)

Jo Brand's about as funny as peeing against an electric fence and alot more painful to experience
