They weren't that great in defence. I mean, they did their job, Julian White did his normal big hits, but to put on a great defensive display you've got to have an opposition that puts you under pressure. And France just weren't doing that.

Scotland didn't play well. France played shockingly. And they still won.

Scotland weren't very entertaining, but they were bloody good. It was a quality defensive display and they did deserve the win.

I was saying this about football the other week, to be a good performance, you don't have to score many goals, or attack brilliantly, a team can be pure class in defence as well.

If that made sense...

But fair play, it was a try.

Scotland were OK. Nothing that good about them, the backs apart from Cusiter didn't bother showing up. It was France giving them the match for most of it, not Scotland earning their lead. Without Michelak,Yashvili,Magne and Betsen - they're terrible. Which is a shame, really, as they can play some great attacking rugby. They play like the Welsh normally, all attacking backs and running forwards. Except this match they tried to ruck it all the time, driving mauls all over the place. That's not the French style. And as for Dominici - where did he go? Didn't see him for most of the match.

So - Scotland OK. France rubbish.

I'm telling you, Wales would've taken either of those teams to the sword today. As would England or Ireland, for that matter.

C'mon Wales, take those dirty English down today.

Gah, what a shame. Scotland were quality, and frankly deserved the win.

All I can say is:

-It was a try
-The sin-bin was a crap decision

Two decisions that changed the game, and Scotland will feel utterly dismayed.

On a brighter note, Mido :-D

Absolutely robbed. I know it sounds bitter and everything, and I imagine the majority of you will say that - "oh, bitter scot losing again" - but if you even watched the game, you'd have seen it for your own eyes.

Disallowed try which would have ended the game, 10 mins from time.
Yellow card for Petrie, sin binning him for the rest of the game when really, it wasn't an offence at all (deliberate offside apparently - bullshiz).

ffs.
