What a disappointing waste of 2 hours of my life. I got the twist after about 10 minutes, including what was in the secret boxes. To be honest, if you don't get it within the first half an hour, I reckon you have to wear special gloves because your knuckles drag on the ground. There's something about his films that I really don't like, but can't put my finger on it. They're mostly...bad? It's like someone told him that the Sixth Sense was ok, and he thinks he's some kind of horror master. Reminds me of Garth Marenghi in a way.

The one thing I did like was...

*** SPOILER ***

Joaquin Phoenix. I like the way he wasn't in the second half of the film. Wasn't dead, but once he was injured he just wasn't in it. And Adrien Brody being a spaz. Mostly crap though.

The Village was pure rubbish. Barely worth a watch.

Rent 'Signs' on DVD, and watch his first ever horror movie in the extras.

So funny.

I dont like the main character bloke, he annoys me. The village looked like a retard village to me, somewhere where they stuck all the people they didnt want. I did like the bit after the wall, the twist, but i wont say it incase someone is reading this who hasn't seen it. The film is totally unrealistic. Like a blind woman could really do all that!

Expect to see it again in the next couple of months then.

It would have been a good horror film, but he had to turn it into some crappy love story type thing. I still liked it, but i could have been SO much better.

Unbreakable was the best of his films, but that is no achievement. The Sixth Sense was appalling, plus its repeated on ITV and ITV2 at least 5 times a year. Too much of Bruce Willis just sitting there and talking quietly.
