What could be the most insulting thing ever? Being mistaken for a girl? Nah. Being mistaken for some ugly bloke? No not at all. The most insulting thing lies in the memory of the PC you may be using now.

Have you ever seen scandisk? It displays the message "To avoid seeing this in future always make sure you shut down your computer properly". What caused me to get into scandisk? No error on my part. I always shutdown properly it's just you!! Evil Windows! You crashed yourself for no apparent reason!! To say it's my fault is just a mere insult. I heard Windows 2000 never crashed. Tried it round my friend's house. Crashed twice that night. My fault or the computer's? I think the computer's fault. Will a Windows that never crashes every be invented? I think this is as possible as us going on holiday in the sun and surviving..

Mine used to crash quite a lot but now it seems i can just switch it off at the on/off button for some weird reason and not get that annoying message.

WEIRD!

The longest time I ever left Linux running was 3 months and about 10 days. But think about webservers.

I think you should all look at www.microsoftsucks.f2s.com . More senseless pluggery!

Mac OSX has only ever crashed once, I was testing it to see when it crashed but I did have 10 (doing stuff) programs open, and they did contain:

Dreamweaver
Fireworks
Internet Explorer
Netscape
Director 7
Freehand 8
PageMaker
Photoshop 6.0
Simpletext
Appleworks...

hehehe..

I read in a PC mag that if you leave you computer on for 10 days Windows 2000 crashes. But having your computer on for that long is quite sad anyway!

Windows 2000 shouldnt crash, it's effectively NT 5, the most stable version there is.

My mates got it, he has left his computer on for a couple of weeks non-stop and its been fine.

Must be your bad vibes!

So we are agreed we are going to lead a revolt against Microsoft? Sounds promising. When are we going to sort out the details?
