great game so far shame about the result hopefully that'll change into United's favour by the end of the game. Credit where credit is due great move from Arsenal for their 2nd although poor keeping from Carroll.

Nice to see Arsenal setting their stall out early with a dive from Cole in the first few minutes, not as good as Diouf's though. Did think the Pires one was a dive in real time when i saw it but then it is Pires :-D However seeing the replay we got quite lucky with that especially with Graham *blow up every 2 seconds* Poll in charge (that doesn't help the game Poll that makes it worse) Think that Vieria one was a dive as well but only seen 1 replay so far and wasn't that good so i'll reserve judgement for now. (Got to make up for Ruud not being on the pitch i guess :-D)

Pires should be off unless purposely kicking a player is now within the rules. Shame he didn't miss him then he would have got sent off :-D

and how the hell can he call Rooney up on kicking the ball away when Bergkamp did exactly the same 10 seconds earlier. Not surprised Rooney got frustrated and got himself a booking.

look forward to the second half and i expect rooney to be sent off. Might be back on later if i can talk my step dad into allowing me back online if not probably be thursday when i get my broadband and i have a good moan and call for Fergie's head :-D

Yet I have to admit, I have been pretty appalled by the "behaviour" and "sportsmanship" of both sides. Rooney for the most part is being an idiot, while there are many other players acting completely inappropriately. These are professional players on god-knows-how-much money a week. I find the general attitude towards the match from some of the players is just…well…crap. And after Fergie and Wenger said they’d play "fairly" and "as they always do" and all the rest of it.

Passion is one thing, but when you’re playing on such a huge stage, and as a role model to people watching in nearly 149 counties, I don’t think the players are going about the game in the right way.

Aaaanyway, despite this it has been a gripping game and I'm now back to watch it. :-)

Yes, were you in the crowd, Scope? With your sniper rifle, shooting down Vieira and Cole at the most opportune moments?

It's been a truly fantastic game so far.
