I just learned a hard lesson in spyware and trojan horses! I downloaded Opera 7.54 and it had an ad banner along the top, a mate said get a "crack for it" and I looked on google found one! and tried to down load it, silly me! 183 spyware thing found on ad-aware and 14 viruses! I think I have them all removed safely now but that was a nightmare! not trying that again.

I dont know what the attraction of Opera is? thats why I was trying it ;-) I have firefox, is that the same as Mozzila? and IE also the reason I wanted to try as many browsers is because we have a web site and wanted to know if it worked and how it looked in other browsers?

Both Firefox and Opera seem to load pages faster than IE but is that my imagination? please advise.

Well, I doubt you'll offend anyone. ;) Just didn't want to see anybody banned. Not that SR pay that much attention usually but still.

As a side point, whats the attraction of Opera? Have you tried Firefox/Mozilla?

Yep, after all most software is a necessity. I'd probably die if I didn't have Photoshop!! :P Evil software developers making profits from things they produce too, what an outrage.
Sorry, what you do is your business, but dont try to justify it or point the finger at others.

Shelljed, a hint for you. You're posting on the forums of a software retailer. Its a fair bet they dont appreciate discussions about cracking/hacking software thus negating the need to buy it. ;)

Warez P2P from Download.com (search for Warez P2P - it askes if you want ads, say no) then look for the serial.

Not that I agree with that sort of thing, but at the extortionate prices software is being sold at we are forced to...
