Although why do I get the feeling Jack'll just go "I'm a federal agent, let me go", and he's let go by the cops?
Muh. Hope that doesn't happen and he actually shoots his way through them all instead.
And cool ninja moves too!
Last 10 mins to go.
Another great hour (ok 45ish mins)

She's off doing other stuff now, so it's unlikely.

But wouldn't you need a car to get there?
Who the hell walks to a petrol station in the middle of nowhere to buy overpriced chocolate bars?

I'm guessing petrol stations are the same the world round. One or two people buying fuel and the rest buying munchies and Rizla.
And did anyone else notice that there was no other cars other than the turrist and Jacks, yet when in the 'gas station', it had a line of people queued up at the counter.... Yes.
*ahem*

Yeah, doing that would've been far more professional.
But I assumed that the time factor was too limiting to do it effectively, and the risk of being seen by the terrorist too high. By holding up the garage he'll stall for time, and if all goes well, should be able to get out without revealing himself and with a window to follow the guy.
Having said that, if he had slashed one of his tyres, none of us would've questioned it.

Well obviously he'd make it look like a puncture.
