Ok, here's the deal. I need a decent (but small) FM Transmitter to send my songs from my MD Walkman to a stereo. Ebay has some, but I can't find any shops that sell these.

Getting one of these things will prevent having to worry about wires and inputs or buying seperate portable speakers, which never seem to be good quality anyway.

The whole illegal thing is balls. I have an iPod FM Transmitter dock in my car, allowing me to listen to my iPod over my car sound system without wires.

It's great, and it's been spotted by cops on the usual pull-over.

I just need one for my future Zen Micro and I'll be set.

I was going to say I got some of this kinda stuff from the US.

I was also considering a whole MP3 player which had this in built. But the company went bust and their last player was a USB1.1 @ $200.

The "Neuros".

It's something to do with some wanky British Authority that set rules in the 1960's or whenever. Pointless if you ask me.

Ah, I've just read some stuff about it.

Dirty illegal iPod users.

:-)

It's nothing to do with Apple, unless Apple have recently bought out Griffin.

They're legal in the US, just not-so-legal here.

So iPod have brought out a product that's completely illegal?

Or are they not made by Apple?

Either way, Apple are still crap.

Yes, they are indeed illegal.

Why not get a minijack to dual-RCA cable? I know this means using a cable, but it's not really THAT inconvenient, surely?

They're illegal to use [S]or so one of my teachers told me[/S], which is probably why shops don't sell them.
