What is the smallest version of Linux I could download? Is there a version which is around 100 - 200 MB's in size and is easy to use.
Thanks,
James

Like Miserableman said below, it isn't.
Well, it is in a way, but thats an opinionated view, it depends on how you look at it. Windows is great for first time computer users or people who are less technically minded, it has everything they could want from a machine and it'll hold their hand all the way.
Linux is (again like Miserableman said - nice analogy) like a kit car, you have all the pieces to make it work. During this you'll learn certain things about the pieces and gather knowledge on how they work, you could imagine the engine as the Linux kernel etc.
Once you've finished, you'll have a machine that has just met your own specifications. You know how things work, if something goes wrong, you'll have a general idea of where to look for it. Which is one of Windows's downfalls, it never tells you anything when something goes wrong, the user is left to try and decipher some error message telling them to ring a hotline etc.
Anyway, being an A2 level Computing student, I enjoy using Linux as it helps me understand various things on how the machine works and so on.
Any more questions, feel free to ask.
Oh and Mode, what exactly did you want to use this small Linux distro for?

For the average user, it isn't. Linux is like a kit-car, you can customise or change any part of it, but you have to know what you're doing and it won't help you along the way like Windows does.
Whats been cut off?
That is actually pretty impressive.
Edit: I found it, thankyou.
