Does anyone know of a program that I could download onto my computer that would show me who was calling, before I actually answer it. We do have caller display on our phone (at the other end of the hose) and I have head of such programmes but no idea what they are called? any ideas?

We are on Broadband and wondered if its possible to detect who is calling via my computer yes. Not so that a could hang up....more so that a just could ignore the caller if a didnt want to speak to them, but if a knew who it was I would either answer it or not as the case may be
I.E Taxman calling! Dont Answer

Freeserve used to have a product like that if you were using their flat rate internet - it would tell you when someone was trying to call, and if you subscribed to BTs caller display, it'd tell you who was calling.
