We got John Terry, Damien Duff and Arjen Robben all for less than Man Utd paid for Rooney.

Think I know who got the better deal.

Arsenal probably got Henry, Vieira and Pires for less than Man Utd paid for Rio.

EDIT: And yes, we got ripped off for Didier, even though he is class.

1. Which part of, "this is not a rant" do you not understand?
2. Which part of this is just a small thought about one thing not the entirity of english football do you not understand?

And lest we forget; Liverpool's best 3 players this year have been Gerrard, Baros and Carragher, at a combined total of £3.5Mil!

Duff at £17M is hardly cheap. Although Robben was a snip, but he probably would have been a united player had kenyon not jumped ship.

Anyway, if your analysing chelsea's best players you might as well analyse them against the other teams best players. Which in uniteds case has been Scholes, Giggs and Heinze in the last few months who dont even go into double figures.

But I just thought, looking at our best players, we bought them quite cheaply (for less than Rooney for example).

If you're gonna look at what I said as a rant against how United spend, then just look at Spurs: They bought basically the whole team for less than Riccy, who's spent the last month or so on the sidelines anyway.....
