I was looking around for info on Final Fantasy X when I saw this story at IGN. It discusses the original plan to release two versions of the game, that has now been changed because it could all be put on one disc. So now, it`ll be one package for all buyers (in japan, don`t know about the UK).

I would agree with tigerblade about Square letting us down on Driving Emotion Type-S and The Bouncer. Well maybe not The Bouncer as there are positive and negative comments about this game. I disagree with him on the fact that FFX has graphics that are only a little bit better than a PS1. I have seen pictures and movies of this game and it is stunning. The effects are amazing in the game. The backgrounds arent static as one movie shows the trees blowing in the background and water flowing on to the beach. This game is going to be graphically impressive just like GT3, MGS2, Devil May Cry e.t.c.

What are you talking about tigerblade. The stuff I have seen is in game footage and it is very good. How can you say its not much of an improvement over the PS1. You must be watching some other game, as the graphics in this are excellent.
LOL, lifelike graphics?? ITS FMV!!! Of course its going to be. The normal in game screenshots dont even look that much more of an improvement over the ones on the PS. mean, the mouths are textures, they have even been bothered using seperate polygons. And the backgrounds are still VERY static as all the videos show... And Square havent let us down??!!! What about the bouncer?? And what about their `realistic` Stype racing? Yea, thought as much. Stop being biased, open up your minds.
Square haven't let us down yet.
That may only be the fmv though, but I hope its just as good in the real game!
graphics look life like
They were going to release a 2 Disk version but that has been put on to one disk. So there is no special edition now. I dont think that it will cost more, I think it will be the same as other PS2 game prices.
The special edition version was to include hi-res cgi's and Dolby Digital soundtrack but would cost more, I think it is only this version which is being released now, so if your a cheapskate, then tuff.
