I got a text saying that its from orange, and that i have been randomly selected randomly to try a promotional upgrade and that i will have 3p texts for 6 months.
At first, i though "yep, con, delete" but it gave me an address on the orange site www.orange.co.uk/3p

So i went to it to check it out, and it all looks proper, so i thought, "what the hell, orange wont con me" then after replying i realised the number on the site said 1118 and the number the text was from and what i had just replied to was 1119...

So i sent a text to 1118 anyway, because it never said "reply to this number".
So far, nothing has happened, and i havent lost any credit.

Have i just signed up for super expensive stupid text alerts or something???

After a long time on hold and near suicide, i finally got them to sort it out for me.
They said the 1118 number is proper, and i will get 3p texts, just do it again.

Phew.

Hold on, i just got a msg from 1119, saying the same.

I have just tested by sending a text, but it costs me 12p...
