No way! It looks like it now, but Tarentino was a virtual unknown when working on this movie. Hell, even Harvey Keitel had to put his hands in his pockets and stump up some cash in order for them to be able to complete it!

Luckily, some people have good sense, and taste, and when they see Christoper Walkens name on the credits, they rent the movie.

And to a lesser extent Dennis Hopper. Red Rock West. Fantastic.

Yes I agree, but don't forget Buscemi in Res Dogs - that was quite a high profile role.

AndI guess you could say things to do in Denver when you're dead was quite big.

But yes, true, it wasn't his name that sold these films. Maybe it's because he just looks a bit weird. The true film lovers amongst us will always be waiting to give him praise though.

I see so many actors that dont get to be in mainstream flicks because their name won't sell a movie:

Christopher Walken
Steve Buscemi
John Polito

They appear in the background, yet dancing bears like Tom Green, DeCaprioleaorio, Steven Seagal, Jean Claude Van Dammit etc are allowed to appear on DVDs that will last forever.
