Recently I came across a site/page which allowed me to click on any game in a fairly large list.

It would then work out whether my PC would be able to handle the chosen game by displaying a long box with 3 marks on it.

The first mark showed the minimum specs, another the recommended specs, and a third how good or bad the computer was in relation to the game in question.

I can no longer find my way back to this helpful item.

Has anyone else come across this, and if so would you please tell me how to get there again.

Thank you.

Even a simple no, you have no idea what I'm on about would be encouraging.

Thanks again.

Thanks everyone for your replies.

And thank you Garin........'Windows XP Game Advisor' was exactely what I was looking for.

(Garin also kindly supplied a direct link if anyone needs to check if their computer can handle a particular game. Or you could just use it to admire how powerful your machine is.)

I checked mine against Half Life 2 and didn't even reach halfway between the minimum and recommended markers.

I really liked that website. So much so that I installed the software and used it. Half Life 2 will run apparently - yay!
