The craft will take 1000 pictures on it's 2 1-2 hour decent, even if it lands in the sea or on a mountain and breaks they'll still have enough to have made it worthwhile.
They don't even know what it looks like inside the atmosphere yet. It could be bright pink for all we know!
Although it probably won't be. But that would be fun!
