I'm thinking of getting broadband set up on my computer so i don't have to share my step-fathers any longer. Just wondering what the best deal is on a broadband connection and who the best provider is.

Obviously by best deal i mean cheapest and one without a download limit on it

I was thinking of doing that but i thought more people venture into here so would get more opinions

Please God no!

We do have a rule about advertising competitors and competitior prices. I think that's fair enough as we are a commercial website.

But we're not trying to keep you in the dark, which is why i recommended a good source of independent info.

But you don't have freedom of speech - it's the forum of a money-making corporation, and these forums (to an extent) apparently represent them as a company. For example, SR banning you for swearing and racist remarks is limiting your freedom of speech, but it's obviously within reason.

Hey! I've got a bad ISP-promoting chest here!

Well there was me thinking we had freedom of speech. I'm asking the people of the forum their opinions, i could see that asking the staff of SR would be pretty dumb as they'd give me the freeola answer but i'm asking normal people without any connection to different companies to get an honest answer so it's not like asking Cadbury who make the best chocolate at all really
