Right, I needed to download this thing as it was needed in the repair of a laptop. However, I cannot delete it from my Desktop.

It doesn't seem to be interfering or anything, but I wouldn't mind being rid of it. Just keeps saying it's in use and cannot be deleted.

Is it a Safe-Mode job? If so, how do you do that from Win Xp again? I haven't done it for an eternity.

Cheers. So, there's no way it can be removed without resorting to Safe Mode then?

EDIT -See, it reckons the exe is in use, but I never open or execute it. I can leave it completely and it'll somehow run itself on startup, stopping me from deleting it.

Maybe, but bashing is more fun :)

I've found that just holding down keys such as delete and F8 at boot-up works, rather than bashing them.

Press F8 repeatedly on boot-up. Or stick a random floppy disk in, and when you get the error about a non-system disk, remove the floppy and bash F8 lots :)
