No health regen inbetween?
No ammo regen inbetween?
No checkpoints inbetween?
Time limit?
Boss sits around in invulnerable mode for half of the time limit?
**** off Retro
Anyone who thought Metroid Prime was a joke is just gonna love this.
I can't beleive they even considered something so absurd. Congratulations on creating the biggest **** up for one of the best games this generation.
About 80% of gamers who even bother to reach this will undoubtably just give up and never go back to it, I know plenty of people who couldn't be bothered with the hour long marathon that was Metroid Prime.
I may never go back to this game again.
I forgot about going through all of the levels.
Duh.
I remember beating it on one level, then it crashes through the wall and it's the core.
But I forgot about the 4 or so levels above it.
An hour's still an exaggeration though.
Half an hour at the most, probably.
I'm not saying it's hard, I can beat MP with one hand, but it does take a long time to get through them both, what with going down all those levels and stuff.
> It's impossible to take out Metroid Prime in ten minutes.
Pfffft.
It was easy.
Probably hard on Hard mode (Strangely), but I couldn't be bothered playing Hard after I beat the big stony thing, and did loads of stuff after it, then it crashed on an elevator video.
That was the last time I played it.
I died first time against the core, but did it again and finished it quickly.
There's no way it took anywhere near an hour.
10 minutes, like I said.
Obviously each boss gets easier as you try more, but it takes an hour to go through the whole thing and as you're constantly in the thick of battle it just drains you of any sort of motivation to play it again.
Also, it's rather unlikely you'll actually figure out how to defeat the 4th boss by yourself. I just looked it up and to be honest I would have never done that myself.
The most irritating thing is simply that they feel the need to surround every arena with phazon, so whenever you take a step back or to try to actually avoid one of the seemingly unavoidable attacks, you just end up standing in a puddle of the stuff.
That sounds a bit silly though.
Hmmm.
Though it really is near-perfecton, again, yet suitably different.

Hour long?
Pffft.
10 minutes max
Crap. That was two days ago, I might try again tomorrow.
