Eugh. I hope its nothing like the Smackdown series. About the only thing Wrestlemania needs to take from there is the number of different match types available. Which I don't think it will, unfortunately by the looks of things.

And yeah, both the X-Box and Gamecubes controllers are waaay better than the PS2's in my opinion... :)

Yes I can see how two horizontally placed control sticks easily beat the much better placement on the GC and Xbox... oh no I can't because those aren't a cheap addition to a ten year old design with a D-pad that makes you walk diagonally left/right when you try to go forward.

The PS2's controller's a joke, I wouldn't force it on my worst enemy.

Decent controller = PS2

I want custom soundtracks, blistering online functionality and a decent controller.

I have to say, it looks about as closely based on Smackdown vs Raw as humanly possible. The wrestling system is completely ripped from there, the Create-A-Belt-And-Take-It-Online, the attributes, Legends...

Buy it on PS2 and get it now rather than waiting 2 months.

That has to rank as a major, major screw-up. Would think the programmers would be pretty miffed too, spending all that time ironing the bugs out only for them to be left in.

As a multiplayer season mode it was good fun.

Edit: Yeah I'm always on the lookout for a new No Mercy type game.

Hopefully Wrestlemania will turn out to be a good game. It looks like it will be but so did RAW 2. :)

I suppose RAW 2 wasn't too bad but I want to play another wrestling game like No Mercy! :D
