That depends on how wisely you invest it, when you want the money back, and how future markets go doesnt it though, so you could invest and never get anything back.

Yea it is. My mum and dad once got 5 numbers and received £1900 and something.

Of course we've got lucky, we got lucky winning with 4 numbers twice, I'd say, we almost won a third and fourth time, but didn'ts (My mum decided to pick 3, then double it, double that and double the final one for her numbers, and if she'd picked number 2, we'd have won, and my dad was one number off), but we've won with three numbers 5 or 6 times now.

That's better than the odds for 4 numbers in the UK, and you win about the same amount.
The odds of getting 3 numbers are 1 in 11,480
That wins you 400 quid.
And hey, if you put on 2 quid, it wins you 800 - more than getting 5 in Lottom, and at much better odds.
Jump ahead to 5 numbers, the odds of winning are 850668:1
But you win 42k if you get them.
Thats better odds than 5 and the bonus ball (much much much better odds), and even if you double your money you get better odds and you still get more if you win.
Verdict: Lotto sucks.
