Watch it, it's chuffing hilarious. Saw it at the West End a few months back and I can't praise it enough for humour and pure balls of what they did. The criticism it's getting is mainly from Christian watchdog groups, which kinda gives away where the second act heads. Written by Stewart Lee of Lee & Herring/This Morning with Richard & not Judy/Fist of Fun fame.

The Chruch has a point when they say that christians havebeen putting up with this kinda stuff for a long time and that if it was Mohammed or one of the other relgions gods getting laughed at, there's no way the BBC would ever run it.

Though they're also a bunch hypocritical butt munchers. I thought that they thought it was okay to be gay, what with all of these homosexual vicars, yet as soon as someone calls Jesus gay they're up in arms.

Stupid relgious types!

I didn't like it that much, but I can see how some people would've liked it.

Wasn't that bad.

Haha, told you it was good! All the complaining about the swearing...did you know they actually counted the amount of times EACH person swore!?!? There are about 30 people in that play, singing in chorus, and they counted each word when they were singing at the same time! The imbeciles. Plus it had one of Starsky and Hutch...Hutch, I think - David Soul. Really funny.

But it makes me angry that we do have religious groups that would turn to violence because of a play. Actors. Telling jokes. Singing. Maybe we should just give them total control over our lives? The BBC2 controller got it right, and they did the right thing by showing it, not giving in to pressure from groups, like with the play in Birmingham. How ridiculous and controlling do you have to be when you can't allow a play to go ahead? Fucktards, everyone.

I flicked over to it and saw the devil saying something like Jerry was going to get ass ****ed in hell, I decided it was good based on that.

Also, the BBC boss has gone into hiding after recieving death threats for deciding to air it.

Not a lot.

Why did Christian watchdogs cry out???

That was a good re-telling of the fight between Hell and Heaven. I'm reading Milton's Pardise Lost at the moment. It was like doing revision!
