...ripped our shed to pieces, and somehow managed to remove my bike from its stand and place it against the wall at the other side of the garden last night.

Madness.

We'd put our Christmas tree round the side of our house, between the wall and the hedge - on the path.
THis tree was abotu 7 feet tall, and really heavy, yet, it still managed to be blown down the path by teh wind and then across to the bottom of our garden.

And our bin is currently lying in the middle of the garden.

3 trees at my house were brought down, plus a few big brances. Also: the greenhouse was smashed to bits and I spent all day today picking up pieces of glass that were scattered all over the yard.

The strength of the wind over the past few days has been incredibly though, particularly at night.
Despite the windows being closed and everything, my curtains flutter a little during it.

I looked out my window this morning to see my neighbours huge pine tree had been literally snapped in two, and one half was lying half way between their garden and the one next to their's.

Had it fallen to the right instead of the left it would've wiped out their shed... and ours.

I cant just imagine letting a cat out the back door only to find it fly back and hit the kitchen wall.

Wonderful...
... and so easy-to-use even for a technophobe like me. I had my website up in a couple of hours. Thank you.
