it will prob influence my decision being a sony fan
they both have there pros and cons, im suporting the psp cause im a sony fan and it does mp3
the psp is more powerfull and plays mp3 but its battery does not last that long
the DS does have a battery that does not run out as fast and is cheaper, it does have two screens but that does not appeal to me i id rather have one big screen, touch screen will prob not be that good for gaming
DS does look a bit ugly but the nice big screen on the psp will get smashed up cause there is no protection

I think it is safe to say that WS is right, and that Nintendo and Sony have no chance against the might of Gizmondo.
Also people will think "WOW i can play movies, listen to music AND play games!", even if they do end up doing it all in their own house. I'm not sold on the whole portable UMD movie idea, to be honest. First off, not that many films will be released on UMD, so you'l only be able to watch certain ones, and then, you have to find 2 spare hours where you're outside and not already doing something - not a very common situation for most people. PLaying music is fine, but, then, you can get MP3 players for £30 which are the size of your little finger, so I do't really see the point.

So, why would people buy a PSP if they already have a PS2? Loads of PS2 ports coming to the PSP - and if the battery sucks, then people are going to be PSP housebound, like they were with their Gamegears.

Excpet for battery life - it sucked four batteries' juice in about 20 minutes.
Damn thing.

Strangely enough this nentendo company is muchly different to Nintendo who are not technichly [spelling wron] using cartridges. They are using a type of memory card which loads much quicker than a cd alt anyday.
Gizmondo is next, N-Gage has been and gone, Game Gear, Lynx, GP32, Neo-Geo, Wonderswan... etc...
Wonderswan actually survived 2 years in the market thanks to Final Fantasy support.
Then the Gameboy got it.
And look how diddy they are ... awww .... so cute. *tickles Mario 64 DS* ... ahhhh, bless
