Why have Nintendo gone through with this?
If they thought there was a gap for such a game why didn't they take the idea of a Mario-ish Basketball game into their own hands? Hell, they did it with bloody baseball.
He lost all coolness years ago! lol
All he seems to do nowadays is jump around boardgames, and prat about on islands with squirt guns.
Suppose he had a cart game not too long ago. But that looked big and gay, with him still pratting about on stupid islands and such.
One day, he'll be cool again!

That and the fact that, although EA make a lot of bad games, they make more good games than most.
