After looking on Ebay at the prices some people were willing to pay for a PS2 it was almost impossible for me to not put it on there, so I did.
I sold it for £200 (!!!) which I am really happy with as I got it for £100 brand new only 3 months ago.
I still dont understand why people are paying so much for the PS2s, mine was Silver and I sold it with 4 games which are crap. Mine isn't even a new one, it's the old PS2 designs so why would someone pay so much?
Anyway, i'll be using the money to reserve myself a Slimline PS2 from Gameplay for £100 and use the other £100 to pre-order a game for next year and get a few GBA games to keep me busy over Xmas seeing as i'll be console-less.
So can anyone expalin why people o Ebay are paying such high prices?

I know one of the staff members from Gameplay and he told me that they might get stock in before Xmas, if not it will probably be in January which is good.

I'll sell mine (standard black) if i can get over £100 as i wanted to get a slimline one anyway.
Well now you will have to wait well into next year before you can get a ps2 again! May be worth it, maybe not if they hike the prices up again for the slim ones.
