For the 1st time in I don't know how long, I watched terrestrial television thanks to over-eating and not being able to reach the DVD controller with my foot.
Watched about 10 mins of something called "You've Been Framed", a collection of clips of hilarious things caught on videotape.
Now I'm not Mr Sensitive (it may shock you to learn) but there were a couple of clips that had me wincing and thinking "Yeah, nice timing".
They consisted of the sea rushing over a hotel swimming pool area and hilariously washing towels etc away whilst holiday makers ran for safety.
Ok, so it was hardly a tsunami but still, you'd think the programmers would think "Maybe we should check the content?", as I didn't find it hilariously amusing to watch?

At least it confirmed my prejudice towards television being run by, and for, morons.

Y'know what beat YBF hands down for poor timing? Showing Antz. A film about a colony being in danger of utter destruction from a flood.

Smooth.

Serves you right for having a television on and it not being used for videogames.

It's a tricky thing though isn't it. I know that when I heard about the twin towers scene being axed in the spiderman film, I thought "You sad pr***s". Not because I wanted to see the film, not really my thing, but because it's so 'treading on eggshells, oooh I'm a little mouse, musn't offend anyone for fear of death' overly sensitive.

There's a fine balance. It's like the whole politically correct thing, the minority getting hysterical and forcing the world to change for the majority.

Not that I'm saying you're hysterical.

I'll shut up actually.

That was Harry Hill? A mindless bald comic with hilarity-inducing oversized collars and canned laughter telling cowpeople when to bark approval at videoclips.

Still, I played along for a bit before it all got too dumb
