ÂLІÂÎR, for a team who, "man-for-man" are better than Liverpool, you can't even beat Arsenal at home!!!

Which was when Cliche came on. The tactics were spot on and to be honest it looked like they had set out to play for a point which with their current defence and crazy long injury list would have been enough.

Can't keep going on with excuses though, it is Birmingham on Saturday and then away at West Brom next Monday. If they are even still considering Champions League which looks highly unlikely now they need to win both ready for when the January signings can play against Yeading (decent bed in game) before another "should win" game against Southampton.

Shearer, Carr and possibly Kluivert back for Birmingham will give more options. I would imagine Carr will drop straight in at Right back with Taylor moving into his natural position at center back. Still can't understand why he hasn't given Ramage a shot though, if he is as good as what he has shown for the reserves he is far more compitent and less prone to mistakes than the current bunch of centre back clowns.

But heh, after all this complaining the defence should take a far stronger shape over the next couple of weeks.

Who said I had a season ticket?

I am down for one, paid for it but not until next season. For now I put up with Sky, Newcastle World and the odd game I can make it up there for/get tickets for.

And for someone who has a season ticket, you're home a tad early?

My opinion of Ameobi has improved greatly after that match.

Never looked like scoring?

I really do wonder what game you people on here watch. Moving Bellamy up front would have just give Cliche and Cole free run of that flank. Commitment wise I can't complain, defensively I can't complain but they are missing Butt so that Jenas can push forward and show what he can do. As it stands they are playing the most suited formation to the players available.

Bowyer's work rate was unbelievable, again.

Souness is such a terrible manager.

How can you leave Bellamy on the right hand side when you're 1 - 0 down with 10 minutes to go?

Abeobe (sp?) looked completely knackered towards the end and never looked like scoring.
