So, at the end of an eventful year I've decided to compile a footy quiz, and perhaps start a yearly tradition.

Questions on the back of a postcard or as a post in here.
:)

HERE GOES:

1) Who won FIFA World Player of the Year?

2) What is his nickname?

3) Who won European Footballer of the Year?

4) In which country was a special presentation made to this player?

5) Who was last years winner?

6) Which country won Euro 2004?

7) Who did they beat?

8) What nationality was their coach?

9) How many games was Arsenal's unbeaten run?

10) Who was banned and sacked for being found to have taken cocaine?

Increased difficulty:

11) Who won last years Pichichi?

12) Who is leading this years Pichichi competition?

13) Who is the top english scorer in the Premiership?

14) Who was the biggest transfer signing of 2004?

15) What is his nickname?

16) Which London club was celbrating its centenary year?

17) Which will be celebrating theirs next year?

18) What are they doing to signify this?

19) Which stadium has been empty on 2 occassions this year in the Champions League?

20) Which English club player has appeared in the most adverts on English TV this year.

1-6 points: Thierry who???

7-13 points: I like me football.

14-19 points: Football plays a big part in my life. Followed by the kids and the wife.

20 points: Sorry mate, can't come to the wedding. It's the derby.

Personally I think it's pish easy, but some of you aren't all that knowlegable, so we'll see how this goes and I'll add some more harder ones if it works out.

Hmmm, I've put Johnson and Defoe back to 10. Does that make it better.

BBC and Sky have different opinions on the matter.
