"Ledley King in 20m move????"

I was reading today that their are bids from arsenal and juventus to buy tottenhams defender for 20m. Though it said that both teams may consider giving players and cash instead of the full sum. Eg liliam thuram or igor tudor and around 10m. Good news for spurs fans or not? The transfer money could be useful, as could thuram or tudor. It didn't say what arsenals terms would be though.

Rio was expensive yes, but united bought him in a market which had much more inflated prices than what it is now. Buffon went for £30M around the same time,Zidane for close to £50M, Crespo £35M, and Vieri for over £30M.

It's not a matter of being an amount of money worse than anyone. Rio is not worth 30 mil. United got ripped off. We didn't even pay that amount of money for anyone, and we bought some better players than Rio.

King is worth about £10-15 million.

He's not £15 mil worse than Rio.
