My mum is a midwife, and every few days she comes back from work with an interesting story. It could be happy, it could be sad, it could be stupid:

Yesterday, my mum was looking after a woman who had a very young daughter called Victoria. She got chatting to the woman and asked her if they'd thought of a name for the baby boy they were about to have. The woman told my mum to ask little Victoria because she wanted to pick the name. My mum asked the little girl, and she answered...

"FRED!"

Fred for crying out loud. Freddie wouldn't be too bad, or better yet make it his middle name - but FRED! And so the parents are calling their son Fred. And together they will have VICTORIA and Fred.

I never did. But then again, I never said that anything was funny...

When in your post did you say that's the reason you thought it was funny?

I never said it was a funny name. I just think it's stupid naming your kid after whatever your other one desires. Come on Cong, we wanna know your middle name...

My middle name is worse than Fred.

Odd coincidence, I had a girl who called me God (and no - I didn't get that from "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air".

I would love to be called jesus.
