Why does Caeser III not work now?

It works on my other PC.

But no, on this one, the InstallShield gets to 100% and BAM...it er...doesn't do anything. For evah.

Sounds like a Direct X deficiency disorder to me, have you got direct X installed?

And no, no new Impressions city games for me - Caesar III is the pinnacle -Pharaoh and co sucked.

Try Children of the Nile, it's (apparently, I've not tried it myself) allot like Ceaser except in 3D and set in Egypt. The demo's out now 195MB [URL]http://www.gamershell.com/download_7600.shtml[/URL]

Clicked install. Failed.

Went on Cm 01/02.

Half an hour later, the install window pops up, all ready to play!

You could try installing the game and then when it gets to 100%, press the restart button. When your PC loads back up drag the entire content of the cd into the appropriate folders.

Works for a fair few games I've had over the years.

Wonder if ME doesn't like 95/98 games...?

Or is there anyway to bypass the IS Wizard and install the game?
