Missed both my friend's birthdays because I've got no money. Got no money because student loan company mucked up, then post office mucked up, now I haven't got forms I need for loan, even though I applied in August. Then left Uni (but I'm still colecting my first instalment), but didn't enter my new job in the right pay period to get money before Christmas. Have £14 left at the bottom of my £1800 overdraft. Not good.

Aahh, I see. Understandable now!
I was more than happy to agree to work Christmas Eve thinking it was normal, then to find out only a quarter of the people are coming in..
Thank Gordon I don't have to deal with crazy, rushed customers, though. You'd just wanna punch them.

I've worked all the Christmas eve's that i've had jobs..if that makes. Though I refuse to work Boxing Day..since it's the best family day of the year!

I loved working Christmas eve because everyone is happy and in good moods!

Last Christmas was quite good. I spend all day working in Sainsburys, and no matter how busy it got they never put me on tills. I sent the day working on Self Checkouts and supervising and since it's the only time of the year we have music i spend a lot of the day dancing to Christmas tunes! Then after work went out and got drunk with the boys!

Last year i had to work the 20th-24th, then the 26th-28th.

I handed in my notice on the 21st so the 28th was my last day, otherwise i would have been working from the 28th until new years day.
