nearly told people i cant have them but dont like to lie it comes back at you in the end ! sounds like your mum gives good advice !me and boyfriend been together a while think thats why people think it wierd we no kids yet !

Tell them you can't have children! lol

Or just explain that u cant love something u dont want.

My mum is the opposite..'wait til your in your 30's'...blah blah blah

what i didnt get chance to tell her is that my boyfriend feels the same ! all i get these days is "isnt it time you started a famiy " why do i have to start a family ? mother in law on to me now when all i want to say to them is LEAVE ME ALONE !

Harshness, still can't be much of a good friend if she stop talking to you because of your beliefs.

She has a pretty old fashioned view that women are made especially to have children.It like thats all women are for. I know women are made to have children but men have the equiptment to have children, in which case every man should have children, unless able to.

she thinks all women should have children( unless unable )because its part of our lives she didnt say much more as walked out of house and hasnt been back !

Thats a bit selfish of her to say that. How can you love something you don't want?

no and i dont want any ! my niece is at my house a lot love her to death !
but a friend is really mad with me because she now knows i dont want any says it the most selfish thing shes ever heard making me think it was just me !

Did you read my post about not wanting children then? lol

I used to think that women who didn't want children we're mad and i thought how boring their life must be. My aunt has no children, but she also seems to dislike them. My sister has a baby and i went round there and i watched her playing with my niece thinking how anoying it must get entertaining your children all the time. I get pretty bored with children quite easy and then it dawned on me that there are many other things i'd rather be doing besides having children.

Maybe it's bcause i'm only 19, but i did used to want children. I might change my mind in the future though.

And you're never too old to be a student. My housemate is 26,she'll be 27 when she finishes, and there is some 30-something women in my Seminars!
