I'm getting a bit sick of reading newspapers and watching TV programmes that say that violent games are influencing children and teenagers to think violence is cool and there's nothing wrong with hurting or killing someone.

Take Carmageddon. You drive around running over people and killing them for points. Some people will say it's fun. Others will say it's sick and disgusting. To the people who say it's fun, I sort of agree, because it's not real. And to the people who say it's sick, I say the same thing, IT'S NOT REAL!! Okay, so maybe some people cringe at the sight of blood on the games, a bit stupid but nothing wrong with it. But people who say it's going to influence kids really need to look at the facts. I mean, anyone from 5 to 18 is gonna know that if you do something like that, you'll get badly punished, it's common sense!
And anyway, the game has a certificate! That's what they're there for. If some stupid parents go along and ignore the certificate and buy there 8 year old kid the game and then find it's sick and disgusting and not suitable, and then complain about it, they should be told that the game's not meant for that age and she/he shouldn't of got if for the child anyway!

At this rate in a few years time the government are gonna want to ban top class games like the Resident Evil series and most eighteens. If parents think that their kids are gonna go round running people over and killing them for fun then they are not looking deep enough into the matter. I can't remember any cases of someone killing someone else because of a game.

I say that parents should look closer and realise that their child is not being affected by the game. If anyone disagrees with me I would like to hear from them.

Seems a pity really not to leave it on page 185. Then it could alway be found in it's original place - but er nobody would ever see it.

So I popped it, like a masterpiece from the vault - well not quite!

Look - this post is real. It says nothing about Classique or Sugar and doesn't even mention fellow ants or the hardships suffered by ant colonies.

Ant - was this really you, or was it another Ant?
