...and it's pretty flipping good. Been asked to make some ads for quite a high profile anti-virus company, and did most of them in Flash, except for the odd one which could be gif or jpeg only. Got a bit worried when I realised I didn't have any animation apps, but then remembered seeing something in Flash that mentioned animated gifs and Fireworks, and after a quick learning session, found that it's really easy - a cross between Flash and Photoshop, very handy! So I'm quite chuffed with the Flash stuff. Hopefully the client will like them and we'll get more work.

Oh, they're appearing on TheRegister.com - that's quite a well known site, right? Looks like I've landed on my feet with this design company.

C64 -> Amiga -> PC
I can remember my external CD-Rom for the amiga and Monkey Island oh and Sim City. I can't remember much about my C64, apart from its Blue screen and some big ass disks.

I actually had a 086, which I wrote my first lines of qBASIC and BASIC on. It blew up though, as I was tinkering about inside it with the lid off and it still plugged in...

Been using FWKS since 1.0 and Photoshop since v.4, very easy to seperate the two...

PS = Print
FWKS = Web

PS to FWKS works well as the biggest thing going for FWKS is it's compression engine, which, quite frankly, unrinates all over anything PS can do. Image Ready sucks as should be avoided at all costs and fwiw, if saving jpegs in PS for web use, USE THE SAVE FOR WEB FUNCTION!!! Saving from PS as a jpeg adds a line of meta data to the file which IE can't interprate making all your jpegs useless!!;)

FWKS to PS doesn't work as well for some odd reason.

Been using them both for way too long, and since MX2004, FWKS outstrips PS by miles for anything web based. Photoshop will always be the daddy for print though!;)

Only joking mate...

Photoshop is still the bestest. I was making my images in that, then opening them in Fireworks to animate.
