What series is it on now? I watched an episode during the week and I had forgotten how great it is.

Episode 13 of series 8 just aired in the states last wednesday and there are one or two more of series 8 to be shown.
Then season 9 starts about march next year - which, sadly, is the last ever series.

I checked out Play.com, that's where I got my price, and they're usually amongst the cheapest.

However I just bought all the box-sets I needed to complete my FRIENDS collection, so South Park will have to wait till after Christmas probably.

Series 1-4 can be found at Amazon/Play/etc

As for the more recent series, I don't think they're on DVD yet...

Where would I get these South PArk DVD's?

I thought it was series 9

Series 5 has some of the best episodes in my opinion with 'Towelie' and 'Super Best Friends' among some of the best South Park episodes.

Yea I just priced that, just under £70 for the first 4 series'. Are those the only series' that have been released on DVD so far?

Think they are up to series 8.
