Psst! It's iPod Photo (http://www.apple.com/uk/ipodphoto/) - iPhoto is an OS X app (http://www.apple.com/uk/iphoto/).

Not sure, but the local virgin megastores was making a song and dance about the fact they had some, they had a flipchart at the front of the store, each time one was sold they wrote it on the chart.

iPod all the way.

In th last 3 weeks I've bought the wife a mini iPod, my little brother a 20GB 4G and myself a 60GB iPhoto and these things are the dogs dangly bits. The only thing which came close was the iAudio M3 which in itself is an awesome piece of kit but falls short on the mobile storage device section.

Never gonna fill 60GB, my current MP3 collection varying in bit rate from 192 - 320 only accoutns for 1227 songs (7GB = 4 days of continuous music).

BTW... Am I the only person here who's not had any problems getting hold of iPods? Seeing lots of posts of people having to wait due to stock shortages?

iPod still rules the roost, in my opinion.

I'm getting the Zen Touch, I checked it out at Oxford Street last night and you wouldn't think it's bigger than the Ipod.

I hope the software with this Zen touch is better than iTunes because iTunes always froze when I loaded it up and it was slow and messed up my PC.

You could look at the new Sony NW-HD3 (which finally supports the mp3 format) mentioned elsewhere on this board.

Smaller and lighter than all of its rivals with the similar 20gb hard drive.

Twice the battery-life of an iPod and better than or equal to other makes with the same storage capacity.

Comes in a choice of colours.

Comes with 'free' Sony headphones that are often recommended to improve the sound quality of other players.

List price is about £250

Zen Micro is slightly cheaper, has an extra gig, has radio, and you can easily change the battery which, also has longer life. Sounds better than the over-rated ipod mini.
