The evil old bigot will do anything rather than give Catholics equality in NI.
We're talking about the man who stood up and ranted "I denounce you as the Antichrist" at the pope about 10 years ago. Which is, admittedly, funny. But it doesn't suggest a man who wants to come to any sort of accomodation with the Republicans.
It's getting to something when the IRA have more popular support and trust in England that the main loyalist party (well...the loyalist party who are getting the most press anyway).
