I placed an order about 4 hours ago and it still says "Order placed".

Normally it doesnt take this long but i've just changed my bank details on there so do I have to wait longer because they are checking that out?

Store loyalty cards dont count as credit cards.

it will be deeply hidden in their terms and conditions that after a week they auto-order stuff or something.

I had a bit of a shock today, whilst browsing the net I got an email saying I'd just placed an order on thehut.com. I vaguely remember registering last week and leaving something in my basket. Somehow the system ordered it for me, so i've had to cancel it. Very Strange.

I guess if hippies are stealing my credit card details then it's important.

Yeah, order usually processes pretty fast for me.
