Jus**t watching the adverts on TV this morning, between bouts of Quantum Leap (the Vietnam one!) and the res**t of the crap, and I felt this sudden urge to fall off a poorly built ladder, or to break my spine slipping on a poorly mopped floor. Almos**t every advert is for some kind of claims company. When did we get so that a simple accident becomes such a big deal? Can't people accept that sh*t happens? Everyone always wants to point the finger, and it really annoys (reads "f***s") me off. Bah to everything. That's my new tagline.

My favorites that one with the fat, sweaty, piggy eyed bloke with a widows peak wearing a second hand car salesman suit. Can't remember the name of the company, but every time I see it I think "Aye, if I was wanting to make a claim, I'd really feel confident with them if that the most TV friendly person they have......."

If they can't be bothered to look what they're doing, take necessary safety precautions etc, then they deserve to be unable to work for months, and suffer the consequences for their stupidity.
