The video to that Radio Ga Ga cover...the singer dressed in unflattering lycra, fake buck teeth and gelled-back hair, poodles (reference to Brian May's hair) playing guitar in the background, parodies of the Bohemian Rhapsody video...and possibly the worst taste ever at the end, a mocked-up gravestone saying "Freddie Bulsurra (SP?), R.I.P."

Genius.

The rainbow suspenders are the best touch. Didn't realise he was meant to be his ghost either, never saw the beginning.

The original wasn't much cop, was it?

It's among the worst. Luckily, I've only heard Band Aid 20 once; As far as songs recorded by a whole load of different musicians go, however, We're Stars (Hear 'N' Aid) is far, far better.

How can it be one of the worst covers you've heard in some time when a) it's almost exactly the same as the original and b) that Band Aid song is kicking around?

One of the worst covers I have heard in some time, and a wholly tasteless video- Freddie Mercury must be turning in his grave, and not just because a spandex-clad nutter from Detroit was jumping all over it. Electric Six's previous album, "Fire", I quite enjoyed as it was pretty funny- but this I did not. Dick Valentine, the band over which you domineer is now no longer one I have any respect for (And one that I had lost interest in about a month after the release of its first album).

I saw it the other day. The video is one joke that wasn't funny the first time, and the song itself adds nothing new to the original except being performed by a group of musicians with less talent.
