I recently ordered a silver PS2 from a different magazine, however they decided it would be a great idea to send me a slimline one instead. anyway i phoned them up and they say silver is out of stock, but i digress. I decided to keep the new slimline PS2 only to find my multitap does not work. after worrying about whether it is broken i find i need a new slimline multitap as well.
Why? Whats the point? why wont the old one work? It's the same thing really isn't it? Are sony just trying to get more money out of us?
anyway I went down to the merry old town of Ipswich and decided to buy one, guess what they aren't out yet.
Did any shop know when they were going to be available? No!
Should I really need to buy a new Multitap? No! (so what if it doesn't look like my PS2, a multitap is a multitap)

Yep thats the beauty of sony and their playstations.
A group of sony staff sit around a table and think 'how can we get more money from the public without having to come up with something to difficult'. I know we make it so that hardware doesn't work with each other then people that have spent their hard earned cash will have to buy more than one of something.
i personally have a big beef with sony and playstations and feel dirty using them. but it's more me just not liking them.
hope you find the multi tap you need and if you sell your one get a good price for it.
