"Swearing on the forums"

For some reason, over the last few weeks, therehas been a marked increase in the amount of swearing on the boards, coming from both newbies and some regulars.

If you are new, please take a look at the rules: [URL]http://ukchatforums.com/forumrules.php[/URL]. Even if you're not, it might not hurt to review them again.

Just to get it clear, swearing in any form is not allowed. That includes starring out letters and replacing letters with ! characters etc. The swear filter in place will catch some but it is only a backup tool. In reality someone has to go through and edit or delete your post.

First offence will be a warning, repeated violations will result in a banning. It is such a stupid thing to be banned for because it is utterly preventable.

Please bear in mind that this is a family forum, visited by people of all ages, and it is irresponsible (and unnecessary) to use bad language around here.

My view on Timmargh's site

I think this site gives us a deep insight into who Tim is and the outlook he has on life. The greyness of the background is there due to him having gone through some bleak colourless times in his past and the grey writing symbolizes more potential greyness ahead.

He puts “entertain” and “humour” in the middle of his tabs, and this is because this is the part of his personality he wishes us to focus on. He wants us to see him as the funny jokey Tim he appears and not the insecure sensitive man that he is.

Although he has a section labelled “photo’s” you will notice how he himself shies away from the limelight and instead hides behind the lens photographing single mums buttocks and flowers...actual flowers, not the mums flowers...

There is also something highly sexual about the dripping leaf…or is that all just crap?

That's basically just describing what the design is...

What in particular is wrong with it?

The font style, the layout, the images, etc

Could you be a bit more specific?
