Glass eye. But an amusingly shaped one or a strangely coloured one, to really freak people out.

My missus has a glass eye and if you didn't know you'd just think she was slightly boss-eyed. She's got a collection of them as your eye socket changes shape and your iris colour changes as you grow (her eye was removed when she was 1 year-old).

glass eye because no one would notice until they say look over there and then they look at you or it could fall out on a date which would be pretty bad.
Eye patch. Glass eyes have to be polished. And looking like a pirate is always a good thing.
