he barks to much when out neighbours hate him what can i do !?

thanks timmargh for info might give some of it a go trouble is my dog 11 years old he was my mums dog !

You could take him to the vets and request that he is 'put down'.

I hate dogs, my neighbours at my parents had one and it was single handedly responsible for waking me up every single morning without fail at 5:30. It ingrained this routine into my body so much that i still wake up most morning at 5:30 and find it impossible to stay in bed beyond 8 o'clock, even though it's a good 2 years since I last stayed at my parents for any length of time.

So why hate dogs? Dogs bark: it's nature. You should hate irresponsible dog owners - most of them have no control over them and let them s##t anywhere they want in public and give those of us who are responsible a bad name.
